The Talk of the Town Drop in.
This CHERS Drop in was made possible by The support of City of Melbourne.
The first Drop in of 2012 has started at 510 Lygon st.
This wonderful harvest is from Ahmed Said's Garden spot in the Estate he donated it for our first drop in of the year 2012, the 4th of January.
What a food what an atmosphere
The CHERS Weekly Drop in is really been very succesfull and thanks those who made it so succesfull be it vulunteering or spreading the word out.
It is realy thanks to few of us who put allot of energy.
like Ahmed who is the Co-ordinator and was envolved from the start Ping the CDW who really spread the word and helped Ahmed prepare and organise even helped the finance when we had some issues with our Bank Account while we sorted the problem.
But we all take our hats for our own Cheif in resident Mustafa who was preparing for the drop in the most Delicious Turkish food you get from anywhere, it rally shows whet we can get out of community if we put a little bit of effort in the right way.

The Last Drop in of the Year 2011
Can we take this Opportunity and Thank the City of Melbourne for funding this project which turn out to be one of the highlights of CHERS for the year 2011.
This project gave CHERS after the re-invigoration to connect with the residents and become tool for participation.
It was for as very sitesfying and fulfilling to do every week something nice without allot of pressure, the funding we received from the City of Melbourne's Community strengthining was the first for us and we consider the real one.
We look forward to working with the City of Melbourne the commi9ng year.

The New chers Talk of the Town time is now every Wednesday 3.30 pm at the CHERS Community Centre.

We have received from the City of Melbourne a grant of $3000 via the Council's Community Strengthening, CHERS has starting the The drop in program for the residents to interact. We welcome it and assure it will be for the benefit of the residents as a whole.
We invite the residents to interact, share and exchange for the better of our common community good. Its time we get the full benefit of been part of one of the most liveable cities in the world City of Melbourne ( CoM ).
